The Texas Crime Victim Clearinghouse (TxCVC) collects statistics quarterly from all district and county attorneys in Texas on the numbers and types of persons to whom the agency provides victim impact statements and the number of victim impact statements received from victims of crime. In addition, the Victim Services Division is tasked with notifying previous victims when a qualifying former TDCJ offender is subsequently indicted on a new qualifying felony (HB 104 Eligible Offenses can be found here https://www.tdcj.texas.gov/documents/HB104_Eligible_Offenses.pdf).

Justice Official access is granted to criminal justice professionals tasked with reporting Victim Impact Statement activity and subsequent indictment information to TDCJ. Access should be requested for all of the counties within your county or district attorney’s office jurisdiction.

Click the ‘Add County’ button to request the appropriate counties for which you will be reporting information.
